One amazing experience about smoking an El Septimo cigar is that you taste flavours that you've never tasted before in any other cigar. While smoking this cigar I encountered many different and delicate nuances.

The vintage Cellar Reserve uses the finest quality 15 year-old aged tobacco, comprising of an oily Criollo wrapper that was harvested in 1998. It is combined with an aged Dominican, Olor binder and then a 15-year old Dominican filler. The cigars are also housed in a unique wooden box which Gurkha claims is aesthetically evoking of a maturing wine barrel.

This specific reviewed cigar from Rocky Patel’s Vintage line of cigars is called the Vintage 1990 Robusto. It just comes to show
how cigar manufacturers blur the lines when it comes to naming their cigars. Traditionally a Robusto is 124mm x 50 but this Robusto from Rocky Patel is 140mm also with a ring gauge of 50.
